We had our regular seats but most of the fans around us were Mets fans, WTF?!? Anyway, the people right near us were actually Yankee fans, so they booed the Mets more than we did. Which was cool.
Kyle Kendrick, just up from Double A in Reading, I think, pitched another great game. He gave up a run in the 1st, then settled in for quite awhile . It was great to see Jimmy Rollins get a 2 run homer, then have Shane Victorino added a solo homer later on. The Mets got back 1 in the 4th, then the Phils got 2 in the 7th to basically put it away.
Kendrick is now 3-0 and pitching well in a small park. Maybe he'll still be around at the end of the year as the Phils clinch the National League East. One can only hope.
